Default rebuild a classic

Is it possible to build a 69 convertable with ordering all reproduced parts, frame, suspension, floor, firwall, ext? Do you have to have any parts to start with?

I assume this a theoretical question and not something your considering doing, right? I mean it would cost 10x more than just getting a beat up 69 to start with. Heck even starting with a 69 coupe would be cheaper than starting from scratch.

But to answer the question, yeah, you could probably get 90% or more from the big restoration shops and whatever else you needed from the junk yard or ebay.

Not with all reproduced parts. You could come closer with a 65-66 convertible. There are a lot more repro parts for the early models.
