Default RESTOMOD RULES!!!!!!

I would like to hear from all you restomodders out there what you think are the best modifications to do to a 1970 fastback. I have mine strippedand ready for blasting. I just need some ideas on the rebuilding I already purchaseda 5.0 EFI motor and plan to do that. What transmission would you recommend. BTW, I am selling the original 302/C4.

Please be specific. For instance, I know that I need subframe connectors but please tell me what type, why, etc.

What I would like to end up with is acar that will handle and perform as good as can be expected from a daily driver.

Thanks,
Robert

Well, I'm really not interested in selling the car after completion.I am more interested in saving space in the garage. I will talk it over with my sons. If they can find some space perhaps we will try to keep them.

The Maier subframe connectors look pretty good. I like how they have more than 2 mounting points.

I really like the hugh aircraft wing on the rear deck lid. Another good mod is the multi color panel look. Have several panels which are mismatched in color and than add random spots of brick colored primer. Oh, and don't forget 7,348 NOS, ARR, Edelbrock, ZEX, and other "sponser" stickers. A loud fart cannon, tinted windows, someones name at the bottom of your windshield, and more stereo than the car can handle. [8D]

The best subframe connectors are fabricated and welded in their full lengthto the floor pan and to the subframe front and rear.
How about rack and pinion steering,it makes all the difference in the world. And why not just build up the 302 you have, add AFR heads,10.1 pistons,a mild hyd roller, and a Holley 600 with a Torker II manifold. As for the trans,if it's going to be an auto get an AOD.
Have fun!

Do you have any specific sources or weblinks for those subframe connectors you recommend?
