Default engine problems

Ok, Lets make the story short and say that i drove my car with the timing advanced ALOT..... The car stalled out up the road, and i readjusted the timing back to its normal position. It still wouldnt start. it started after 5 minutes turning over. I drove it home, it ran fine, idled, reved up fine, etc. I went to start it this morning and it wouldn't start for nothing. I put a new distributer in it today, and it started after awhile. I took it for a spin, and when i punched it at like 5-10 miles a hour, the car bogs quickly and cuts off. Then it takes another 5 minutes to start it again, usually whgen i advance the timing, it'll start again. Once it runs, it runs great. This is really bogging my mind.

It almost sounds like it could also be a fuel delivery problem...as in too much fuel and it's flooding.

Well, Im suspecting the carburator, but what is causing it to start once i advance the timing?

yea thats the part I don't get either,,,, could your coil be bad??? coil could be intermitant.

(might start with the timing change due to luck/coincidence?)

Well guys, here's the dealo. I pulled out all the plugs, and they were dirty, but i checked each one for spark and cleaned them. The timing is right, they plugs are sparking, etc. The only thing I noticed was the spark wasn't consistent when i was turning over the engine, I wonder if this is the coil or pertronix, even though both are around a year old. Also, the plugs are wet like the carb is flooding, idk.I NEED MY CAR FIXED, What can this possibly be.
