I have a pair on my new 375hp crate 302 but I haven't tuned it or driven it enough to comment on anything other than looks. The engine builder told me straight up that he would not purchase the fully assemble version and drop them onto his engine due to quality control issues. He buys the castings bare, does some mild clean up, enlarges the pushrod and/or drainback holes and assembles them with quality valves and springs.

FWIW, my local speed shop likes them and uses them a lot for engines they sell as well. If you're looking on Ebay, read the descriptions and look for a pair that were cleaned up and assembled in house.

I purchased a set in Dec. They were the fully assembled heads. I got scared and sold them[&:] after reading about the quality control issues. They are made in China and sold through Australia. So when they say they are made in Australia, don't believe it.

[align=left]I'm having problems with this site tonight. It's hanging up big time. I guess that's what explains the double post. Got an extra post out of the deal though[8D]
