Default Does this rearend seem legitimate/compatible?

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/pts/312516600.html

I emailed the guy with some questions:

Hello, I know you gave measurements of the spacing between backplates and such, but I was wondering if you could give me the measurements from axle housing end to axlehousing end. Also, do you know what the gear ratio is? Thanks a lot, David

He repleid with:

If you are talking about the 4 bolt flange at each end of the axle, where the backing plates bolt on, the distance between those is approx 57". I say approximately because I have to bend the tape measure slightly around the diff to get a measurement. [/align] Gear ratio is 3.70

From those numbers, does it seem correct?
The 65/66 is best compatible with a 57 1/4" flange-flange width, no? Those are the flanges that the measurements are taken from?

If the #'s do check out, does the differentials look anrrow enough? It being painted all white makes me thunk it came out of an F-100 or equivalent . . .
