Default Need your input

Found this site and decided I could learn from it. I'm the original owner of a 1966 Antique Bronze Mustang Cpe, 6 cyl. A/T purchased in Nov. 65 in Encinitas, Calif. It's gone through quite a few changes since it's beginning on the part you can't see. As far as what youcan see, it'sa lot original. Of course it's been repainted (several times), original bumpers have been rechromed. Interior has been replaced as needed.
My puzzlement is... should I keep as much of the original stuff as it is or should I spiff it up with replacement stuff, like the door handles, qtr panel ornaments, hood lip & letters, window moldings, etc.
Any input would be really appreciated.
Will try to post a pic or two in the next day or two

WEll just to be blunt, anything u can salvage, do so. I'll tell you from previous experience that all those mldgs and whatnot add up in a hurry. I would reccomend replacing the door handles if they are cracked, cuz you can get a pair for pretty cheap. But with some elbow grease and Mothers polish, most of those moldings can be shined up reallll good.
