Jesus.

Did you replace the axle with one from a Fairlane or something?

I want to see pics of this when you do it.

no but its got a 9 inch... the only down side (which isnt really isnt THAT bad) is i have to use a 1 inch wheel spacerto adapt the 6.8inch backspacing on the wheels to fit my car... and im probably going to have to hammer the wheel well alil bit but im going to make it fit.. lol

and there will be plenty of pictures

At the Ford show at Knott's last weekend I talked with an owner of a '69 Mustang that was running 275/40/17's in the rear with 9" wide rims. He had rolled the fenderbut really didn't have to if he would have mover the backspacing in another 3/4". I will probably run this combo on my '70 fastback but was wondering about a combination like you talk about. Please send a post with your results.

well this is going to happen in a month.. still decideing on wheels i was 100% sure on nthe bullets like 3 days ago but i saw some of thes fr500 wheels and kinda liked them

but the rear setup is going to be a 17x10.5 "deep dish" newer mustang wheel with a 6.85bs (i think i know its 6.8x) and a 1inch wheel spacer to get the backspacing down to 5.80 and a 315/35r17
