Rustoleum Progress
Has anyone ever used Rayflex paint? Its automotive paint that you can purchase for about $140 (Base coat gallon, clear coat gallon, hardener, and reducer). This way would be alot easier for about the same price, but I dont know about the durability.
no close ups right now...ill get some next weekend. oh and i got a bunch of trim and emblems and stuff and started putting them on today and it looks sweet. haha everytime one of my friends sees the car theyre like "dude, your going to get sooooo many tickets"ya, its really bright. oh plus the fact that its also pretty loud...oh well, just got to be a good boy

Lemme know if you wantit and I'll ship it out to ya, I'll send it as a freebie part and all I'll ask you to pay is the shipping cost. I'll send you a PM.

To dr1965,
It doesn't matter how the paint goes on, its all in the prep. For me I couldn't care less whether it is sprayed or rolled, as long as it looks good. If you put the time and effort in you can do a great job with this method.
Just do a search on either Rustoleum or Tremclad (Canada) and you will be amazed.

Connor, take your time bud. Don't rush to get this thing on the road. It's a delicate process and you need lots of patients before if all unfolds and you're ready to go. Fix everything the right way, spend a few extra bucks where it counts, and you'll be happy you didn't cut corners. It's a royal PITA sometimes, but you cut corners, you'll be fixing more than you have to and spending more than you would to begin.
Keep us posted brother!
Niteshade, i do see your point. It is off the wall when you first hear about it though, its like something you would joke about as a kid, rolling paint on a car. Connor90 i give you meny props for goingand doing this on your own, you have alot of patiance to do this job, i would have never thought about doing it, too chicken. Again it looks good.
read this about the guy who painted his charger it looks good from the pictures

haha, def thought this was a joke from first reading too. But DAMN it looks good from the pics. Working on it yourself is also a lot more satisfying, more time but worth it in the end. I am redoing mine right now too, now for my plug... any one from the bay area?
