Default Brake question

I just finished re-doing suspension and brakes. I replaced brake lines, springs, MC, etc. I had to bring it to a shop to do the alignment, and also had them pressure bleed just to be sure. The car brakes well, but if I hit them hard, it pulls to the left hard. What is the first thing I should look for?

Thanks a lot.

If you have drums on the front...my guess would be the right wheel brake cylinder is bad. See if it is leaking. Or maybe just need to adjust the pivot nut adjusting screw to bring the brake shoes out until they just touch the inside of the drums....

Yes, replaced everything and went w/ dual bowl. The cylinders are not leaking, so I will try adjusting the right a little more.
thanks again.

If you had the drums turned and put on new shoes, then you just need to adjust the right shoe so that it grabs the same amount as the left one. After you drive it for awhile it will adjust itself.

I believe that Drum brakes have an "auto" adjust system on them. In order to use the "auto" adjustment you need to be in reverse. Go to a vacant lot, shift->reverse and gain a little speed, then slam on the brakes, keep doing this for a little and when you shift into 1st, etc, try braking hard. Viola your auto adjustment should have kicked in and your brakes should work normally.
