hood and door alignment issues
I Just looked at the FAQ's and door and hood alignment seems to be missing. So when in doubt, use a book (a wood pulp device used to augment and supliment a computer). One of the better ones is by HP Books - 'Mustang Restoration Handbook' (by Don Taylor & Tom Wilson. It's ISBN number is 0-89586-402-9. I don't know if it's still in print, so try www.amazon.com or www.abebooks.com (a used and out of print book store) and use either the title od ISBN number. Basically, with the hood and fenders off, you align the doors, then install the fenders loose and install the hood. With the hood in place, you align the fenders then adjust the hood. Ford factory specs for alignment are about 1/8 to 1/4 inch. The books will give you sequences for bolts and other adjustments - windows, striker, etc and you don't need a power source to read it while in the garage in normal light.
