PB Blaster in Carb..
I recently rebuilt the old Autolite 1100 in the 6 banger and replaced gaskets, etc. Started right up and then adjusted the carb and set the timing. Still idling rough at times even from constant tweaking of the adjustment screws. I was messing around with the carb again today and drove it around. Had some hesitation at start when giving it gas. Well, I happened to have the handy PB Blaster can near me and I thought...maybe there are specks of rust in the carb which may be preventing proper flow and operation. I sprayed several blasts into the carb and let it sit for about 10 mins. Darn thing started right up and seemed to respond better than earlier that day. Can PB Blaster do any lasting harm to the carb or other components? I know it's a little late after the fact to ask, but curious if anyone has info on that...
