I only use Stant. Used a Robert Shaw once on a Jeep and it was doa...the only one I EVER had def from the factory. I don't think anything is better than a Stant

Ya' know Brandon, I have often wondered that as well. If super flow or maximum flow or Hi flow means that they open up more than a standard thermostat, then I would think that too much water flow would be happening and the water would not stay in the radiator long enough to cool properly, therefore causing overheating instead of right the opposite as we may logically think. Until I see some research on this, I am going to say stay with the standard thermostat if that is working for you.

Hi flow....I wouldent do it unless you have an oversized radiator.
The only reason I would say such a thing is that when I was but a wee lad, I worked at a shop and a guy came in with an overheating problem, he had drilled a extra whole in his stat thinking this would let more coolant circulate...well it did, but it didnt restrict thecoolant flowenough for the radiator to cool the way it should.
