Very good job and very clean no rust spots or metal to fix are you gonna shoot epoxy primer first then a high filler primer then a base coat?

Looks like it's already primered to me. Sure does look like a strong frame to start with. Good luck with it, and keep us posted as you progress.

in the picture it's not primered, just the dust from sitting in the shop because of the rain, i got it shot with epoxy primer yesterday, took a while to get it to the paint place. the paint shop is IMPERIAL BLASTING in thornton illinois, southside of chicago, and the paint shop is thornton collision, probably the best stuff you can get around here. ask for wally olczak he will take care of everything, he designed his own proprietary media for blasting. they do all sorts of blasting, but the car is from hayward california and hasn't been on the road in 18 years, the paint place says its the cleanest car they have ever gotten.

***** not epoxy primer that went on, veraprimer it's an etch primer that seals up the metal really well

Was going to be a boss 302, I have the new block and correct heads, but the headers would be so close to the schock tower, the problems fitting those in are about the same as fitting a 351 into a 66, it won't exactly be a clean job. This car is pristine so I don't want to do anything to it that is permanent. I am going to put a 289 into it, along with hipo heads, balanced and machined original ford crank, wiseco pistons, roller cam, real shelby ram box manifold and probably a 750 holley double pumper, should be good for around 450-480 hp- don't start bitchin i'll show you when im done I got some tricks up my sleeve and they have nuthin to do with nitrous, forced induction or anything.
