Default RE: Carburetor tag numbers-what do these mean?

C6DF B is the ford part number, a C6 = 1966, D =Falcon, F =Carb, B = version. The full Ford part number is C6DF-9510-B. It's a 2 barrelfirst used on a Falcon but also used on Mustangs and possibly some Mercury's as well, all without smog. The B-5LD breaks down to B = revision, 5 = made in 1965, L = November, D = 4th week.
