Thanks again for your input. I found this cam :

and thought it might be a good choice as its specs are a bit more agressive then my current cam and I already have Edelbrock heads:

That might almost be a bit too much cam depending on whether you dd drive it and how much you wanna turn it. That'll make for a 302 that screams out to6.5-7k rpm depending on intake design. And it might not have the best bottom end street manners depending on your gears, but I dunno anyone who's used it, seems pretty agressive though. Also it seems that cam is standard 302 firing order, so if you have a 351W or a 5.0HO that cam won't work unless you get different damper/flywheel for a 5.0, won't work with a 351w though.

That cam is too much unless you just want to race. Try something a bit milder like .220 or .224 with a sub .500 lift. You'll getgreat power and driveability.

Yeah. The 302 I'm building now is get Crane's Powermax 2031(good price at Summit and it'll work with what I'm doing) is a hyd roller and it's 214dur-.050 intake 220dur-.050 exhaust with a 112lsa and .513" int and .529" exh and they list it as 1,400-5,400rpm

Ok here is one that has specs similar to the cam I am currently using in my 302. What do you think of it?

Here is a list of all the roller cams available for a older small block ford at Summitracing:

Any cam that is listed as a power range that goes up to 6,000rpm is gonna need very good heads, intake, exhaust and gears to work right. And either an aftermarket stall converter or a manual trans
