Default Heater core

How hard is it to replace a heater core in a 65? Do I have to remove the glove box liner? Is their an easy way or short cuts?

I did mine in my 67, is was pretty easy, just be careful not to break the fiberglass/plastic housing that the core sits in, I had to superglue mine back together, works fine though

I got to play Soaring (aka Glen) here, go to the FAQ section and take a look. If the instructions are not there, they should be.

There are no short cuts to replacing the heater core in a 65....then again it only takes about a half hour.........

When you buy the core, get the gasket set, new hose and clamps. Be careful of the defroster plenum, it's cardboard and very fragile. You might consider a new plastic one.
