haha ive thought about it before too but our cars arnt really muscle cars like the '69+ were...i think that the shelby hood looks good though, im sure you could get a shaker to look alright but not as good as it would on a '69+.

Shelby hood scoops are great if functional. I'm not a fan of sticking them on for the look alone. But that means cutting a hole in the hood (then again so does a shaker
)If you just want performace, you can leave your hood intact and do an under hood tray.

I saw one on a white 66 coupe with blue Lemans stripes, 18" wheels, real low profiletyreswith itty bitty front brakes and stock drums on the rear. The whole package was definately playing for the other team. The shaker just looked so wrong. You'd definately be coming out of the closet if you did that to your car.
