is my engine a 302?

I thought mine was a 289, pull the value covers off and the headsare 289s, pulled the intake off and the block says it's a 302 on top. I have a 65. I need to see the what the casting number say, for the year of the 302.

I have 289 stamped right on my intake manifold.

When I purchased my 65 I was told it had a 289. Turned out I had a 1965 289 block, 1966 289 heads, but had 302 crank & rods. I guess the only way to be sure what you have is to take 67fastbak's advise and measure the stroke.

I do too.... but its in storage due to it being a 2 bbl intake
