balancer and flexplate

Default balancer and flexplate

ok i have my stroker kit ordered for my 351w and i need to order a blancer and flexplate i know it needs to be 28oz do i need to go with one thats going to cost $400 are will i be alright with a 80 dollar one

The flexplate needs to be balanced to the harmonic balancer I believe. What are you stroking it to?

id pick up a street damper its from fluid dampher but alot cheaper i think mine was 225$

393 i know that i need to get the same balance flexplate and balancer im just trying to figure out if really need to spend 400 dollars on the balancer also i all the flexplates im find say they are for a c-4 or c-6 im going to be running an fmx

a better balancer is only needed if your spinning it up really high, my cheap professional products balancer survived the rest of my motor grenading, so i have to say its good - but a fluiddamper or "streetdamper" would be a better route to go.
