Default under hood cover.

I don't believe that a 65, or any 60's mustang came with the pad/cover that covers the underside of the hood, my qoustion is did they? If they didn't, is there anyone that has hheard of, or installed one on there cars? The reason being, is the underside of my hood is not painted ( i have no clue why they didn't paint it ) but i would like to cover it, if it is possible, until i can afford to get it painted.

There was no cover, and in your case, wire brush, sand and/or grind the surface a little and get a spray can of gray primer, mask and prime. As your car is shown as a light color, find a close color and paint. Under $20 and a good Saturday afternoon project.
