Default Question about wheels

well i have been searching for a while for some different wheels and ive finally found someone in my area with some 15x7" torq-thrust d's with the magnesium grey centers. i havnt gone to look at them yet. they do have tires but the guy said they will need to be replaced pretty soon. he's looking to get $500 for them but that still seems kind of high to me, what would be a good first offer to make for them if they were in good shape (which i assume they are)?

or am i just out of touch with the prices of wheels?

thanks a bunch guys

Recommend you bring one home and check it out on your car before you start dealing. TTD's typically have 3.75 backspacing and can often have rub problems on 1st Gen Mustands...both front and rear.

and yes...that sounds high for used wheels. Offer 300 for wheels/tires

ok thats what i was thinking...they supposedly came off of another 1965 mustang so im assuming backspacing shouldnt be an issue but ill check them out just incase. thanks James
