Need help with reversing lights
I am almost ready for my 66 stang to go for the inspection as required by the DMV here but I have a problem with my reversing lights.
Firstly, does this sound like the right connections. I am following the wire (black with a purple stripe) and it splits and goes to the driver's side (DS) lamp, returns, goes across the trunk lip then down to the passenger's side (PS) light. The wire then returns and connects to a connection that is a between a wire from the tail light, and a wire from the harness. I am assuming this is the ground.
With this configuration, only the passenger side light comes on. However, if a put a jumper across the 2 leads to bypass the PS light, then the DS light works.
Does anyone have a picture of their wiring around the PS tail light? A schematic? A description? Any help would be great.

Go to the FAQ. Scroll down until you find the electrical section then read the first wiring diagram.
On edit: Wait, I have it right here.
