Default domelight wiring

I am changing the headliner in my 66 coupe and I want to put in a domelight from a 67(maybe). Can anyone tell me how I can wire this up so that the light turns on when I open the door and can be turned on manually with the door closed? any schmatics will be greatly appreciated!
Thanx-Tom

Simplest way would be to tap into the rear seat courtesy lamp wiring that goes under your rear window deck. Splice the 2 wires to the over head lamp to the matching two wires of the existing lamp.

The wiring is the easy part, there is no place to mount a light.

Just a suggestion, a console has a light mounted in it's rear that will giveyoulight in the back seat area.

There's a metal bow aboutan inch widethat goes right across and in the center. You might could figure out a way to screw a dome light to that.
