I hope the is the right forum, wasn't sure if 84 is considered classic yet.

I'm looking for some production info on a 84, with a 3.8 L, automatic, hatchback with t-tops. It came with the GT quad-shock suspension, with the 3 points mag rims, canyon red exterior, canyon red interior. I've been trying to find any information regarding that set-up, but I haven't been able to find any production numbers, or any info at all really. Someone had once told me that it was a rare set-up, unfortunately, this car is no longer in my possession (so no vin # to go by), and over the years my curiosity has gotten the best of me. This seems to be an odd package to come across, so any insight would be appreciated.

 

Not quite a classic yet bro. My guess is one of the mods will move this thread to the proper section, but maybe someone in here can help you out. I know some of the Foxbody guys will definitely be able to!

 

im gonna say that somone added the quad setup cause the svo were i believe to get the quad in mid 84 i had an early 84 svo that had the slapper bar setup. but heres the 5.0 forum https://mustangforums.com/tt.asp?forumid=14

 

What is the proper section, may I ask? And if so, will a mod please move it. I know, I'm a newb here.

 

With a 3.8 L, 6 cylinder, I didn't think the 5.0 forum was the correct one. From what I have been able to find, the GT's had the quad set-up, but this wasn't a GT.

 

Prolly the 5.0 section I would think. And don't worry about it, honest mistake and I'm sure one of the mods will move when they see it. In the mean time, feel free to hang around, some of these old guys on here really have a lotta knowledge!!
