I wish I could have a cigar hanging out of my mouth while driving my 65. or driving the golf cart. I had to give up smoking a year ago because of a cancer on my tongue, but I still miss it.

ORIGINAL: stang30

I have converted the the front to disc brakes and I want to have a matching 5 lug rear.
In the meantime, I have a set of matching aluminum 14x7" wheels (2 are 4 lug, 2 are 5) that I will make you a GREAT deal on....

Check'em out...

Ideally, you would get a V8 rear end out of a 65/66 mustange -this has the correct width for your car. The8" should be good to around 400ish hp andis about 30lbs lighter than the 9" so unless you want to put a huge motor in that, I would go for light weight that will still get the job done.

It doesn't say where you are from, but Classic Auto in LA gets used rear-ends from guys in Phoenix and I got a used '65 8"for $250 - the entire rear end and they even put a bunch of usedbrake parts so it would be a complete rear (even got the 65 e-brake cable). They also sell through the internet so theymay be worthcontacting (classicauto.net)
