In California minimum wage is 7.50. My friend and I worked out the equation. We did for the summer, we took out what the taxes taken off his are (he works there already) and how much the union takes and the union starters fee too. and we figure in 10 weeks I can make 2450.
texas' minimum wage is slowly going up, ill be making around 8.40, and i will get a riase each time minimum wage is raised here. i make wayover a grand in a month

I also got to factor out how much I would spend for Gas. Damn. But, the Albertsons is like 1 or 2 miles from my house.

Short commute is always good.

be smart though, don't blow it all on a car. Bank at least 10% for the future.

I'll start off banking it all, then once I reach a certain amount I think my dad will help me out. So I will still have some left over from that.

As a manager, they're still paying minimum wage? Good thing you're going to college. BTW, according to the nightly news, it looks like the grocery stores are going to avert a strike.
