Stock? Not really. You definitely want an upgraded cam and ignition to run a single plane intake efficiently. A mild cam with stock-ish (Pertronix/Duraspark) ignition is happiest with dual plane (2 holes for Glenn). The stockers with 4 holes are best for stock only setups. There is a lot of power/efficiency to be had upgrading any stock manifold with an aftermarket aluminum piece.

I've got a Crower 15244 297HDP grind camshaft.

Glenn,
Parker is good about responding to emails, I got a hold of them a year or so ago when I was thinking of buying their manifold. You should just send them an email with all your info, tire size, rear end ratio, transmission type and gearing, engine type, displacement, camshaft, exhaust, etc.

Just tell them that you are looking into their manifold mainly as a showpiece, and ask them if they think it is practical to run it on your engine, they should be able to give you a much better answer than any of us as long as you can provide them with all the nitty gritty on your car.

Peter
