Default front seat belts

What have you all done to put a newer 3 point seat belt in the front seat of the 65 style mustang to update the existing lap belt? The only way I can think of is a roll bar to mount the shoulder harnes to but I dont want a roll bar in my car.

I copied James' setup detailed on his website and it works great. If you have a coupe or convertible, you can get the kit that mounts to the top of the door opening if you'd like. If you're particularly tall, you may prefer to have it mounted above the door.

As Jeff put it 'if you'reparticularly tall, you may prefer to have it mounted above the door', well I am particularly tall and so is the other driver, and the door mounted three point system works very well for both and the 6 ft 2 in 14 year old passenger. I don't know how long it been in the car, a 66 hardtop, but I bought mine with-in a month of the article appearing in Mustang Monthly. I had some installation problems, contacted the seller (can't remember who from So Cal) and gave him my solutions. I think that some were incorporated into future versions.
