Default Wheels!! PLEASE HELP!!

Ok so Im a newbie to vintage mustangs.. I recently bought a 65 mustang i6 and now Im stuck with hubcaps. I really want to get some 17 or 16 wheels, but dont know if they would fit and where to get them in 4 lug. I have seen the 4 lug american racing wheels, but want something different.

I know there are plenty of posts on thisissue, but after reading 74 pages, im tired, and hope you guys can help??

What other options do I have other than a 5 lug conversion ? how hard is it to do that? Also I love the car and have been putting a lot of time and money into it that i dont want to sell it for a v8..

Thank you all for your help in advance!!

PM Soaring and he will steer you in the right direction. I am not sure if they will stick out but I don't think so if you go with 14x7 rims and stock size tires.

Here is a custom made adapter that takes it from 4 lugs to 5.
Here's a place that sells them made to order, they might be pretty expensive though. Give them a call.

If you're looking at a little 'pizazz', how about the hubcaps with the spinners? No, I'm not talking about the pimp daddy wheels with the spinner thingies. You pop the center cap out of your hub cap place these in and pop the center cap back in.

Mike, those wheels are butt ugly IMO. They look like they belong on a pickup truck.

I wouldn't put those wheels on an early Mustang either, but don't the lower wheels look like they are smaller diameter or is it just my imagination?

I wouldn't put them on either!! Just showing him that there are options, ugly or not out there!!They are pretty homely tho!!!!!I should have looked twice, I had a few beers and that makes things look a little bit better if you know what I mean!!!!
