You really need a wiring diagram to make a correctselection.
Jim
Here is a website I found when researching a wiper switch, it has various wiring diagrams for classic Mustangs.

It might be a good canidate to add to the FAQ, unless there is already somthing better in the FAQ already.....

Ummhumm,, Soaring or James W......

http://www.hammar.dyndns.org/~djhamma/wiring.htm
We have a bazillion wiring diagrams already in the FAQ, but I will add this one. Thanks James. Not sure if JamesW can unlock the FAQ. I have it locked so someone doesn't sneak in there late at night and erase 2 years worth of work.
,,, Yea,, that would suck,,, bad,,

I should have looked in the FAQ first, somtimes my brain does not work right though. The diagrams on the above site are posted with enough resolution to allow zooming in pretty close, this is always helpfull when looking atlittle bitty lines and print..

And especially with my old tired eyes. I have the FAQ on my hard drive, and booze has it in the archives of this site, so there is no worry about it getting erased as such, but I just want to keep a would-be character out of there. As time goes by, we keep adding more and more information, and we also erase some sites that no longer are on the net. It's just easier for one man to take care of it.

I really appreciate it when someone takes the time to post a follow up message like this. So many times we spend time trying to help to only wind up with the feeling that our advice went down a black hole!!! [8D]

The advice certainly got the job done...

Tell me something about that big red building behind your car.

Isn't that the truth? I don't know how many times I have been completely ignored with no thanks for the advice given. And yeah, what is the history behind that red barn?

That's an original one room school house from the day. Those that remember when the mustang first came out know what I'm talking about. Those that have just started to shave (or the female equivalent) need to watch little house on the praire.
