Looks really sharp. You are lucky to have a car like that, but even luckier to have an uncle that would share his time with you like he obviously has. Cars are just hunks of metal and petroleum, family is the world. It also sounds like you have your head on straight and aprreciate his efforts. All in all, a great situation! Congrats!!!!

Thanks Colostang, I know how lucky I am to have an uncle that would do something like this for me. All I have to do is help him sand down his Mach 1 when it's ready for paint and I also had to wash his GT500, like I don't enjoy spending time with such fine pieces of American automotive history.

Very nice! Why not do it perfect? You come this far with it. That one will be a real head turner!

The color is from an '06 Z06 Corvette, it's called Daytona Sunset. I'm really pleased with how it turned out, the only problem is it'll probably turn the heads of the cops too.Aussie, I just really don't think that they look that good on my car, I was thinking about getting 17" or 16" chrome Torq-Thrust II wheels, I've got to chrome it out.

I love the color choice like a copperish red. Looks sick can't wait to see the rim choice you go with I would go with a chrome look unless you are going to powder coat the bumbers and trim black. Then go with a black out rim that would look sick.

I thought I might just powder coat the wheels I have now black because that would go with my interior, the GT stripe and when I black out my windows, but it'd look kind of weird with the chrome bumpers and trim. I'm trying to choose between the Magnum 500's, the Torq-thrust II's or the Cragar SS', the wheels will probably be a couple months away, but it doesn't hurt to think about it now.
