Default front parking lights - need help

Need some help with the front parking lights. The front parking/turn lights have a ground stud on them. Where does this plug go? Looking at the wiring diagram it seems to go to the headlight connectorbut can't find a receptacle anywhere on the headlight or behind it. See item 57 on the attachment.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

On my son's 66, there are 3 wires that come up from the parking light into the headlight area. There was a double plug that had the running light and signal light wire, and a single wire that was the ground, it had a "bullet connector" on it.

We rewired the entire car, so we just hooked the ground wire to the same ground as the headlight.

So, I guess I don't really know the "right" way to handle this, but I do know how to make it work.....

yeah there sould be two connectors to the headlight harness just like in the picture.....did you take the headlight out and look at all the wiring behind it. It could be tucked hidden somewhere.

The left hand light ground is attached to the top screw of the regulator, the right hand ground is in the radiator support by the battery.

Here are a couple of pics. As far as the ground wire goes, ground is ground.
