Under a rubber plug in the trunk just behind the rear seat back.

Yes, you have to remove the seat back in order to gain access to the shock nuts. There should be rubber oval plugs but sometimes there is none.

The same.

I just did this job. Went pretty well. I removed that petroleum based sticky crap, took off the plugs and discovered that one of the shocks top fastener had backed off and was allowing the top of the shock to piston up and down past the mount.

Explained the "bang!" from the rear of the car everytime I went over a dip in the road.

The front shocks were even easier. Front springs and rear leafs are next. I'm having a shop install all new polyurethane bushings as I type. Didn't want to do that myself. ;-)

If you're putting polyurathane bushings on the strut rods, you might want to do some web surfing on the subject. Many think the polyurathane is too hard resulting in strut rod failure.
