I was looking at the classes... there's a whole bunch of stock classes and then the Modified class is for 64-78. Does the club not try to keep cars in the right class, or is it 'put yourself whereever you want'...?

It's not a very big show, so if there is only one car in a class, they lump it in with a class that is close. Last year, all 65-66's were lumped together. There were three of us. The modified one, a 6 banger and me. As you can see by the listed classes, the modified 65 should have been in a modified class, but since he was the only one, they lumped him in with us coupes because his was also a coupe. Hopefully, there will be more entered this year and the modifieds will have their own class.
A. 64 ½ – 66 Coupe
B. 64 ½ – 66 Convertible
C. 64 ½ – 66 Fastback

I saw your car at the show today and it looked great. I didn't see you around the car to say hi. I couldn't stay too long as my 3 and 5 year old only have so much energy. This was my first time at this show, and overall, I was impressed with the quality of the rides.

Hope you had fun!

You haven't had anyone pull up next to you and rev their engine telling you they want to race?
I haven't had anyone pull up and rev at me either (mostly because my car isn't completely done yet). But I have gotten some challenges for when it is donefrom an 84 BMW 525i, a 96 Honda Prelude and my favorite a 73 Duster. Does anybody respect the power that our car's pack?

I had the "rusty" mustang on the back of my trailer when i bought it. Brought it all the way back from Iowa. Every person that passed us on the highway looked at it and almost half honked their horns.

I have had several cars that got "looks", but none of them would havehad a second glance if they were on a trailer with giant rust holes in them...

Gotta love the classic mustangs...

Stock ... no. My wife's minivan has more power than most of the early Mustangs.

While some may look back with nostalgia that the 60's were the heyday of power, it is pretty obvious that the heyday is now.

That may be true, but as someone has said on here, "it doesn't matter how much horsepower it has, all that matters is how fast it goes."
