Default wiring help

I have a hot wire crossed somewhere in my 67 vert. When you put on the turn signals they both blink. The hazard lights are working correctly different flasher. Also the curtsey lights are not working either (under the dash and in the glove box). I have looked for a blown fuse and replaced the bulbs for the curtsey lights. I am not sure I want to tackle the wiring [8D], some things I would rather let a professional do. Does anyone know of a good place to take my vert to have the wiring looked at. I also want them to replace the blinker switch I have all ready bought the part. One of the cams must be broken it will not click off from the left turn position.

It would probably help for me to mention that I live in Houston Texas.

Do they both blink when left or right signals are used?

Sounds like it may be the wrong relay switch.Maybe the PO put a hazard relay in the wrong place.
Hope this helps

Page 15-7 of 1967 mustang shop manual...Both indicator blubs flash in either direction: open circuit between solenoid of emergency warning relay and the turn signal switch...Defective emergency warning relay

I noticed you were going to replace the turn signal assembly cam in your first post. Where you having probs before or just trying to prevent them...Also if you change out the speedo cable you might have tapped the emergency flasher relay or wire came off...just my guess.....good luck and keep us posted..

Here's a pic from Johns Mustang online.... http://johnsmustang.com/Parts/details-6948.html ..the flasher is located behind the gauge cluster with orange wire with yellow stripe and a blue wire...IIRC you can go in thru the ashtray to replace it...

Your reply helped me find this stop lamp switch, http://johnsmustang.com/Catalog/906/, I don't have brake lights working on my 72 Mach1. The brake lights also remain on when the flashers are turned on. I pulled the relay, but wouldn't think the relay causes the brake lights to not work? Any thoughts? DETERMINED SIMPLE STOP LAMP SWITCH
