I lovehelping ontechnical issues/scenarios...but it's a waste of time to build a dictionary of terms whenthey already exist.
+1 ... i found it better/more useful to use the haynes and shop manuals and climb around and under the car to put pictures/descriptions with the real parts on my car - sticks better, and you start to decipher what each part does and how they work together. one of many reasons i love these old cars, you can actually look at them and see how parts interconnect.... no computers

Thanks for the dictionary of automotive terms james, it should help me very much. i just didn't know where to find that kind of information. And by the way james, I am sure that i am not the only one out here who would like the definition of terms. I was truly asking for help dont just assume.

it is important to learn and ask questions but id have to agree with james.Just ask specific questions not so broad.Pretty much all of us just learned by doing and reading.So that said read everythin u can.then ask when u cant figure it out.Good luck
