Default 67 A/C

There was never an A/C system in my 67. Did any of the 67's originally come with A/C?

67was the first year you could get factory air. Ford called it select-o-matic air. If you wanted a/c before 67 it was dealer installed.

I thought if a part had FoMoCo stamped on it it was a factory option and my A/C unit on my 66 has that on it.

Did it fit in above or below the radio? Because I've seen pictures of mustangs with both. Did the A/C come only on certian 67 models?

Air conditioning was a factory or dealer option on all Mustangs except the 64-66 289 Hi-Po cars. It hung under the dash. From1967 on, factory A/C ducting and heat exchanger was built into the dash.
