if your gonna have to replace the tranny id use it for a reason to get a beefed up aod will hold the power and you get a overdrive gear.

If you rather go with a local builder go to a local mustang car club and ask for recomdation. Who every you get to build your engine make sure they put it on a dyno to break it in, test and tune it.

Yea I see the TCI streetfighter for C4's for 859.00 in summit. That sounds good to me. Do you ship engines or is pick-up only? I like my 289 but I'd have to rebuild the entire motor so I figured I'd just go with a 351w which should produce 270hp + at the flywheel pretty easily. I think I'll stick with a small block.
