yes the courvair was a flat 6 rear engine car, my cousin flipped the transaxle and put a V8 in the back seat.

Like the renault clio v6 a small front wheel drive b class euro hatch that they put a 250bhp v6 in the back seats http://www.pistonheads.com/doc.asp?c=47&i=8080if i was in the states I would want to import it

maybe it would be easier to start with a DeTomaso Pantera and drop the fastback panels on it

Anythings possible, but unless you have atleast 50k to spend and lots of time it aint happening. if you wanna waste your money just go and copy everyone else and just get a 351 windsor, some 18 inch rims, andsome shelby accessoriesand say you have a "unique" restomod. I like the idea, but it sounds a little too fast and furious ish.

With the short tail end of these cars...It would be so far forward it wouldnt be a mr car but a rr. But needless to say pretty cool if done properly

buy a kit car if you want a mid engine car.easttennmotors the 67-73 both big blocks fit nicely most people use a 351 since they are cheap to build. im runing a world 460 thats basicly a 351 with a huge stroke and bore.

I just get tired of going to car shows and having people tell methey have a 427 or a 390 or whatever but i politely correct them that infact all they have is a 351 with a bigger crank shaft. I think its hilarious when people will spend 12k building a stroker motor when you can build a a real FE motor for around 8k minimum if you find a few good deals

small block weights less besides can you build a fe to make 600hp 575foot pounds for under 9k.if im going big block im gonna build a 806 out of a 460 aftermarket block and yes it can be done.

Hey guysthanx for all the opinions for the record i hate fast n furious this was a idea i always had way before i was into imports i just love GT40s and i thought making the fast back a MR would be beneficiary for the driver and fun as fudge i mean having a V8 or V10 behind your shoulders is just crazy by the way i am ordering the small block most of you opinionated and try to post pix of the project and how its comming along keep the ideas comming wheels tranny etc thanx again
