Default kickdown lever leaking?

Ok, well I think I finally have the tranny pan fixed from leaking. Woo hoo!

Now onto leak #2. Fluid is coming out of the "area" where the kickdown cable connects to the transmission. What exactly is that called, the manual lever? And second of all, if I wanted to change those gaskets, or whatever else may be in there, where could I find a kit? Thanks,

It's called - replace from the inside.

It's called what? I've attached a pic, though, this is my first try at it, so it make take a few attempts.

Screw it: here is the link

Note, the pan is new (and nice and shiny! ). You can see what is circled. That is the thing that is leaking. It drips about 1 time every 30 minutes.

I don't know what exactly I need to replace to get it to stop leaking. It appears there is about 3 bushing or so, and a couple washers and pins. Any idea?

Where ever you have a seal, it will eventually leak. You said you have a leak at the kickdown lever 'area'. It's where the shifter arm goes into the transmission, as well as the kickdown lever shaft. To replace the seals, you must dissassemble the transmission and replace the seals from the inside. Simple, right.
