Default Safe Rev Point - 289?

Stock 289, what is the safe rev point. Same for A code and K code?

Alot of this depends on whether or not the engine has had time to warm up to typical driving conditions...Dry reving is one of the worst things you can do for a stang over 3k rpms

For a stock 'A' code, 5000 RPM max, butI don't put mine up that high. On the other hand, on my fresh broken-in Hi-Po, Iwould shift at 7,200 RPM, mostly by ear.
