i used a " Ridge Reamer " today
i cant afford to bore, if i bore, that means new pistons, and i would have to have a mechinest pull the wrist pins. i would like to do that, but its simply not in my budget... we are going to to get them as stright as possible...
then use a 3 stone hone in that thing, and finish with a dingle ball hone if one is available.
you *could* have a machine shope hone it. yeah it would cost a little money, but it would get done with a machine that basically forces the stones to stay straight in the holes. it would be cheaper than boring, and you wouldnt have to pay for pistons or wrist pin swapping.
oh yeah, and depending on how big it is worn out, you may want to consider getting rings in .020 over and file fitting them
