Default 65 console mounting brackets

I just bought a 66 console, but I don't have any brackets to mount. I know I can buy some but does anyone have some pict of what they look like and where they attach to he floor and how many brackets I need.
AC console standard shift
Thanks
Johnny

Default RE: 65 console mounting brackets

Don't bother with the bracket. The factory stuck it up near the firewall, fitted the carpet around it and slid the console, without the shift lever or seats installed, onto it then screwed it down. None of my three Mustangs have them and the fourth won't after I finish putting it together. Using the six screws to the drive shaft tunnel is enough to keep the console secure.
