Default my engine is almost done.. possible problems

my engine is almost done but i think i have a problem on my hands... my intake manifold does not seem to be sitting flush with my block... (see first pic)
there seems to be a small space... any ideas.... besides that here is my 302.. ust waiting on valve covers and a new fly wheel

You need to fill that gap with silacon that gap is normal. Do not use the cork gaskets that came in the gasket set

Thats one huge alternator sitting on top of your motor....

j/k! Hey what brand is that blower?

edit: never mind, B and M! Where did you get it though, I've never seen that before...

i got it off some guy.. he was selling it out of his garage... he just got it rebuilt... showed me the paper work and every thing... got it for 1000.. its pretty much a weiand 174 blower

The second two pictures were so beautiful, I HAD to save them! Estimates on power output? 302ci?

p.s., I love how it has the 1" spacer... so tall

It definitely appears that you do not have a large enough bead of silicone between the block and intake. While you have it back off and cleaned up, do a dry fit and make sure that the manifold is seating properly. On my last Edelbrock intake, I had to slightly chamfer the upp edges where it meets the head as it was slightly hitting.

i GOTTA ask.... why add a blower to a motor with stock heads, hell - stock rocker arms and valve springs. seems like overkill for your setup

I looked at the pictures, and to me it looked like the manifold was not fitting against the head, is that just me?
