I have a question about the inner fender walls on the later years like 67 -68 with V8's ..

Are the inner fender walls shorter to make space for the V8 engine ?

Cuz i know the 65's have a really tight fit with V-8's ..

So is there more space in a 67-68 V-8 for an engine like a 351.

Than in a 65 I6 car ?

 

67/8 use shallowed shock towers.
If you install 67 shock towers in a 65 you have the same size engine compartment

Well I decided on buying another mustang ,..

im going to buy a 67-68

351 fits a 65/66 but its a tight fit the 67-73 both big blocks fit nicely
