I'd spend the 90 bux. It's not worth the time and effort to try to fix it.

replace it! the part is cheap and fairly easy to install!

My next question would be...how bad is a repop going to fit?
I removed the left front fender because it didnt line up correctly, and I found that it is a repop fender, and will never fit correctly.
I am currently in search of a good used 67 fender because that 67-68 crap aint worth the salt they put in bread.

(Just noticed Im in 2nd gear now)

Get a reproduction piece and trim to fix, weld it in - top and bottom andsick somebondo on the exposed top part.

way to rub it in glen, im not in a gear anymore, im just "one"

oh yea, buy a new rocker panel, if you can, get the more expensive canadian made one, they are WAYYYYYYY better quality

id replace it make sure you get a ford tooling one not a crappy overseas cheapo they dont fit as good.

Ok here comes the question, alot of repo panel fit like **** and people alway say get ford tooling fair point but press tools wear out ie.the lada which was a fiat 124 made in russia did not rust but the fiat did part of the reason was the tools were worn and thick guage material was needed. So are these tools ex-ford? If so I would think a semi smart investment if you have the cash and space is to buy panels and store them for a few years I think the roi will be higher than buying the car!!
