Exactly how is that commentof valueto this thread?

I'm very well known as a world class smart-alec. However, I know the difference between light-hearted posts and posts where someone is actually looking for direction. As the moderator of this fourm, I'd think you'd know the difference too. Guess not.

This isn't the first time you've thrown worthless comment into one of my threads. A couple weeks ago, I was having motor mount issues. You threw in some comment about F-O-R-D on your hood and going to the dealer. When I challenged you to call the dealer and let me know how that works out for you, I got no reply. Why? Because I'd already tried calling the dealer and they told me they don't have motor mounts that old. Another worthless commentary from our fearless moderator.

Here is just the bracket:

Now just find the compressor and the other parts.

Awesome lead. Thanks.

If I buy this bracket and a Sanden compressor, will the existing hoses work? Is there anything else that would need replacing?

All you need is a receiver drier and a few fittings.

I took the car in this week to have the A/C converted from R12 to 134. The mechanic convinced me to replace the condenser and dryer. He then replaced the fittings. When he tried pumping in the freon was when he discovered the compressor was leaking. Looks like I might only need an adaptor plate and compressor. Does that sound right?

The only other part you might need is the receiver/drier. I don't see why you would replace the condensor unless it had a leak.

My receiver/drier was $19.14, part number 1411405. I can take a pick of it if you want. It required 2 fittings on either end.
