69 radio help

Default 69 radio help

ok so i pulled the tape player that my 69 came with, and i have a ? or two, the radio bezel that holds the radio and fan/ac/heat controls is one peice, so how do i put in a new cd player, because the bezel is to small of an opening where the tape player was, do they make newer style bezels?

Most of the time you have to either buy a generic install kit with bezel options, or custom make one of your own. You will not find a direct replacement with out having to punt unless you order a new radio designed specifically to fit your car out of a Mustang specific catalog such as NPD. another option is to use your original radio with a CD changer.

For 69 there is a replacement radio bezel out there that will fit a standard radio/cd player of today, but it runs $99. NPD and Mustangs Unlimited carry them.
