Hello all, new to this forum and excited about my first Mustang purchase! Anyhoo, tried to buy a carjack at Kragens to put in my trunk and one of the workers suggested because I had a heavier classic car that I should find out the weight before I purchase anything. Can anyone tell me what 66' Mustangs with a straight 6 engine typically weigh? ..or what kind of jack I should buy?....

Sorry,,, couldn't pass it up... Welcome!!
I still have the original scissor jack that came with the car. However, I bought a cheap hydraulic jack from wally world for less than 20 bux that just does a wonderful job, and it comes in a nice case.
