Project 67 RUSTang *new pics
and if this wasn't a big enough project, my wife said she might like to have a fastback someday. That's all I needed. I bought this one on ebay for $985. Notice a few left overs from the 67 and an EFI 5.0 too.

Went over to the body shoptoday to measure for wheel and tire sizes. I'm going with 17"x8" with 4.75" back space and 245/45 17 on the rear and 16"x7" with 4"back space and 205/50 16 in the front. Anyone elserun something like that on a 67 with Granada spindles and Versailles rear?
Anyway, they said they might get to painting it this week or early next week. They wanted the primer to cure a while so it minimize shrinkage.
It will be Dodge "Flame" red with black stripes. I saw a ebay convertable Eleanor red with black stripes and red interior. Closestcar I've seen to what I'm doing.

That looks like Rebel Mustangs fiberglass. He has Carroll Shelby's original molds. Now he's making glass for Shelby. Your car looks awesome. I thought I had it rough until I seen your pics.

I think your rims will be close, but OK. I lost track on the rear lights, but if you are going to make them sequential, then go solid state on the flashers and sequential units (no dynamite sticks). Looks great.
The kit my buddy used was not Heidts, I can't recall where he got it. I will advise him about strengthing it up. He has a long way to go.
The glass on my car is Maier Racing except for the trunk lid and tail light panel which is rebel. I did go solid state on the sequential lights. I ordered the wheels and tires and they say I should have them next Saturday. My car has been pretty rough but it should be painted soon. Then I get to put it all back together. I can't wait.
